Submission Specifications:

  • Concise, substantive abbreviation of the material to be presented, including purpose, methods, results and significance of findings 
  • One page (300 words maximum) with the name of the presenting author underlined. Include the institution, city, state and country of the senior author.
  • Provide the name, address, and telephone and fax numbers, as well as the email address of the corresponding author.

The Review Committee will select the truly superior content for inclusion in the Scientific Sessions.

Content Review :

Abstracts will be peer-reviewed along with completed disclosures to ensure balance, independence and objectivity. To that end, authors are required to submit completed disclosure forms detailing the following:

  • All relevant financial relationships with commercial supporters.
  • Any intention to discuss an investigational product or the off-label use of a commercial product.

In addition, authors are required to attest that:

  • Any recommendations involving clinical medicine are based on evidence that is accepted within the profession of medicine as adequate justification for indications and contraindications in the care of patients.
  • All scientific research referred to, report or used in support or justification of a patient care recommendation conforms to the generally accepted standards of experimental design, data collection and analysis.
