ABSTRACTS
Call for Abstracts: International Congress XXIII
Abstract Submission Deadline: September 15, 2009
International Congress is the premier conference on endovascular management of cardiovascular disease utilizing the latest cardiac, vascular and neurovascular techniques and technologies.
We’re committed to maintaining the leading-edge reputation of the International Congress series and encourage the medical community to submit new and timely information. The Abstract Review Committee will select the truly superior abstracts for inclusion in the Scientific Sessions.
Abstract Specifications:
Abstracts must be a concise, substantive abbreviation of the material to be presented, including purpose, methods, results and significance of findings.
Abstracts should be one page (300 words maximum) with the name of the presenting author underlined. Include the institution, city, state and country of the senior author. Provide the name, address, and telephone and fax numbers, as well as the email address of the corresponding author.
Topics Include:
- Multidisciplinary collaboration in the transformation of medicine
- Abdominal and thoracic aortic endografting
- Unresolved questions in carotid artery stenting
- Minimally invasive aortic valve replacement
- Embolization techniques
- Endovenous treatment modalities
- Cells, genes and nanotechnology
- Surviving the Obama healthcare plan
Content Review :
Abstracts will be peer-reviewed along with completed disclosures to ensure balance, independence and objectivity. To that end, authors are required to submit completed disclosure forms detailing the following:
- All relevant financial relationships with commercial supporters.
- Any intention to discuss an investigational product or the off-label use of a commercial product.
In addition, authors are required to attest that:
- Any recommendations involving clinical medicine are based on evidence that is accepted within the profession of medicine as adequate justification for indications and contraindications in the care of patients.
- All scientific research referred to, report or used in support or justification of a patient care recommendation conforms to the generally accepted standards of experimental design, data collection and analysis.
